The Orthodox Christian community of St Taran was established in May 2023 to organise the Orthodox Christians residing on the Isle of Lewis and Harris. The community is organised under the direction of its bishop in charge his Grace Bishop Raphael of Ilion as part of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain. There are currently no regularly scheduled services but we do try and meet approximately every 3 months. Dates when they are confirmed will be posted on this site.
